Terrell Owens
Dallas Cowboys Wide Reciever
To say Terrell Owens is outspoken is an understatement. The man is in the media every time he opens his mouth, it seems. One thing thats for sure is the man has been as successful on the field as any other reciever in his era. Owens started his career after a college career in UT-Chatanooga. He was a multi-sport star in college, and was gifted as an athlete as a whole. Owens grew up in Alabama, in a broken family that at times had him taking care of his grandmother, who had drinking problems at times. If you want to know why Terrell claims he is "misunderstood" as he says, read his books "Catch This." This will shed light on why T.O. is, well, T.O. Love him or hate him, the book is a good read.
After a stop in San Francisco, and then wearing out his welcome with coach Steve Mariucci, Owens went East to Philadelphia, and starred for the Eagles, leading them to the Super Bowl in his first season. However, the second season started with Owens holding out over a contract dispute, and ended with Owens arguing with Donovan McNabb. Owens was released from Philadelphia and now is a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
