Lebron James came into the league as the most hyped player since Michael Jordan, and he has not diassappointed anyone. James led the Cavs to a game seven vs. a very strong Detroit Pistons team in the 2006 NBA playoffs. "King James" has put up incredible numbers and is still maturing. Lebron recently re-signed with the Cavs and is among the highest paid (both with contracts and marketing deals) players in the league. Lebron has been a national media sensation since his early years in high school, and comparisons are often made to Michael Jordan. Should Lebron continue his success on the court, he is on pace to break several league records. James was the first pick in the 2003 NBA draft and will be a powerhouse for years to come.
